A. Call the emergency services if necessary. Gather as much information as possible, ideally take photographs of the scene. Call James Alpe and we will arrange to recover the vehicle if it is not driveable and provide you with a replacement vehicle. We can also liaise with your insurance company on your behalf.

Q. How many estimates are required?
A. Usually one is sufficient but we can talk to your insurance company on your behalf if necessary. Estimates can be done while you wait in our reception area.

Q. Can I choose who repairs my vehicle?
A. Absolutely! Your insurance company will try and steer you in the direction of their approved repairer to keep their costs down. Don’t accept a compromise in repair standards and make sure you choose the repairer of YOUR choice. We are approved under the PAS 125 Kitemark scheme which means are products, processes and procedures are supported by all vehicle manufacturers.

Q. Are there likely to be any delays with the repair?
A. Only if manufacturers parts are not available or we have to wait for an insurance engineer to inspect the vehicle.
