Misleading Insurers
Legally your insurance company cannot dictate where your vehicle is repaired. Many insurance companies will steer you towards their own approved bodyshops where repairs will be price rather than quality driven. Misleading information regarding courtesy cars, the number of estimates required, length of time for vehicle inspection are frequently mentioned and geared towards customers being pressurised into using insurance company bodyshops. It is your vehicle and your choice.

Courtesy Vehicles
Many insurance policies do not cover for the use of a courtesy vehicle whilst yours is off the road. At James Alpe we have a large fleet of cars and commercial vehicles and all customers are offered complimentary use of these irrespective of whose fault the accident was.

Non-fault Accidents
If you have been involved in an accident which was not your fault, we will aim to put you in a like for like vehicle i.e. as near to the category of vehicle you were driving and you won’t have to pay any insurance excess when your vehicle repair is complete.

Fault Accidents
If you have had an accident that was your fault, we will still offer you one of our courtesy vehicles and advise you on the best and most economic method of repair, and if you should be claiming from your insurer. We will guide you on the most economic solution to getting your vehicle back on the road.

Genuine Parts
As a manufacturer approved bodyshop you can be assured that your vehicle will be repaired using only genuine parts and to manufacturers strict guidelines. This is endorsed by our British Kitemark Accreditation held only by strictly audited and inspected bodyshops.
