Mountain Rescue Vehicle Refurbishment

Calder Valley Mountain Rescue Team www.cvsrt.org.uk have just taken delivery of their refurbished Vauxhall Movano control vehicle – and highly delighted they were too! We are building up quite a portfolio of vehicle conversions and refurbishments for mountain rescue teams across the UK having worked for lots of different teams on lots of different vehicles. It’s great to get positive feedback and this week Calder Valley was no exception. The project was the refurbishment of a Vauxhall Movano. We had a limited budget in which to do the job but if you look at the before and after photos you would never believe that. There was quite a lot of bodywork damage (which you would probably expect from a vehicle that’s 12 years old) and the hi-vis livery was looking a bit tired and dated. We also managed to spruce up the wheels and still came within budget so it’s no wonder that the team were delighted. We can pretty much fulfill any requirements for search and rescue vehicles having worked on ambulances, command and control vehicles etc. We’ve also just completed two dog vehicles for Mid Wales Fire and Rescue http://www.mawwfire.gov.uk/ who are also delighted with their vehicles. So much so that they have kindly allowed us to have them on display at this years Police Fleet Managers conference which takes place on 3rd and 4th June.
