New Developments
7 March 2016
Things never stand still for long at James Alpe Ltd and 2016 is no exception! With a brand new state of the art ‘Multibooth’ fast track repair facility running, a huge new car park for over 200 vehicles, a brand new recovery and collection/delivery vehicle we are on it in 2016. James’ latest initiative is a brand new industrial unit development on a 7 acre site in Clitheroe. The development will see the creation of several industrial units on the old Twinbrook Golf Driving Range just off Lincoln Way in Clitheroe.
The units will vary in size from 1000 to 14,000 square feet with parking spaces, new tree planting and landscaping will be carried out as part of biodiversity plan for the site. James has been operating from an adjacent site on Lincoln Way for over 25 years. When interviewed by Lancashire Business View, James commented ‘this is a great opportunity to bring new, high-quality industrial facilities to Clitheroe. Due to its rural location, the town has only had limited scope for new commercial development until recently. James has both lived and worked in the area all his life and feels it is important that Clitheroe and the surrounding areas continue to thrive and evolve.
The development which will be commencing in the near future will provide much needed industrial and office space, allowing new businesses to move in and therefore create new jobs as well as allowing established businesses wanting to stay in the area to expand. The investment will provide a significant economic boost to Clitheroe and the Ribble Valley.
